Five new faces in friendly

Bridges gave a good account of themselves against a spritely Worthing side, twice leading before succumbing to a couple of breaks and finishing with ten men when Aaron Goode limped off ten minutes from time.

Goode was one of five new faces in Bridges' starting line up, and one of the others - TOM TOLFREY - gave Bridges a 7th minute lead when he met the excellent Andy Sesay's cross from the left.

Kieron Thorp held on to a good low effort from Danny Barker, but he was eventually beaten after 30 minutes when Lloyd Dawes drove home a penalty, awarded for a trip on Dawes by Tadley Bromage.

Bridges were swift to retake the lead on 38 minutes after Aaron Welf turned away Brannon O'Neill's free kick. The ball eventually found its way back into a crowded area and AARON GOODE drilled home.

Poor defensive work led to Jessie Starkey equalising just before half time, but after 62 minutes a great run by Marvin Armstrong saw him go past three men before beating Thorpe.

Four substitutions and Goode's injury upset the balance a bit for Bridges, and Worthing - who featured two former Bridges favourites in defender Joe Tennent and speedy substitute Mason Doughty - added gloss to the scoreline when Ashoka Ayoola met Daniel O'Brien's cross from the right in the last minute.
